Lino is the Global Co-CEO of Eversheds Sutherland and US Chief Executive.
He leads the firm’s lawyers and business professionals in collaborating to provide high-quality, efficient and creative service to clients across Eversheds Sutherland’s global platform, focusing on strategic initiatives and driving growth and innovation.
Lino is a veteran lawyer and litigator with three decades of experience representing and advising clients on matters involving energy policy and regulatory issues. Top ranked in Chambers for over a decade, he counseled electric utilities and cooperatives, private equity investors, project developers, and other clients in state and federal courts and before public agencies. Lino brought deep and broad knowledge of electrical markets to advise clients in navigating complex regulatory requirements for traditional and renewable energy infrastructure assets as well as in litigation and disputes.
Prior to being elected Global Co-CEO and US Chief Executive, Lino served as Co-Head of the Eversheds Sutherland Global Energy Sector. He also served on the firm’s US Executive Management Committee from 2019 to 2023.
