Kiran is a clean energy specialist, with over 20 years of experience. He works on M&A, project development, project finance and joint venture transactions and is regularly recognised by peers as a market-leader, including in directories such as the Legal 500.
Kiran advises on all aspects of the energy market, with a particular focus on the generation, storage and distribution of power from renewable sources.
Kiran has worked with clients deploying a wide range of technologies including: battery storage; ground-mounted solar PV and rooftop solar PV; onshore wind, offshore wind and floating wind; waste to energy, anaerobic digestion and biomethane.
Kiran has also advised on market-leading sustainable agriculture and corporate PPA projects.
Kiran provides advice on the full project lifecycle from site identification, through to development, financing, sale and repowering or decommissioning.
Kiran also provides pro bono advice on the UNFCCC climate change negotiations.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Kiran was a partner at BCLP where he worked for over 20 years.
