Eversheds Sutherland Welcomes Gary Ho as Insurance Counsel in New York

He will enhance the team’s experienced capabilities advising clients on insurance industry mergers and acquisitions and broader insurance transactional and regulatory matters.

With over a decade of insurance industry experience, Mr. Ho has worked on a wide range of insurance representations, including those involving mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, private equity investments, insurance-linked securities transactions and reinsurance. He will advise on these and other complex insurance-related transactions for a diverse client base, including private equity firms, insurers, reinsurers and other financial services firms.

As a sought-after deals attorney, Mr. Ho draws on his insurance sector knowledge to guide clients in effectively managing and addressing the key legal considerations throughout the entire process of insurance transactions. In addition, he leverages a commercial perspective to help clients proactively identify and resolve issues that may emerge during negotiations.

Mr. Ho’s wide coverage of insurance-related legal matters includes his significant experience advising clients on insurance transactional and regulatory matters involving life and property and casualty insurance businesses.

Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Mr. Ho was counsel in the New York office of a global law firm, where he also focused on insurance transactional and regulatory matters.
