Eversheds Sutherland advises Cofidis Group on its acquisition of Carizy, a digital marketplace dedicated to recent used vehicles, from Heycar groupFebruary 02, 2024 Founded in 2015, Carizy acts as an intermediary to simplify and secure the process of buying and selling recent used motor vehicles through its digital platform carizy.com. Carizy provides secure payment processes through vehicle inspections, sale management and administrative handling services to ensure each automobile transaction is safe. This acquisition will enable Cofidis Group, specialising in online lending, to continue investing in the European automotive industry, specifically in the recent used car market, which is experiencing strong growth and major change.
