Eline specializes in competition, product regulatory, and (international) contract law, making her adept at navigating complex regulatory challenges and commercial relationships.
Eline covers all aspects of competition law, with particular expertise in compliance, merger control and FDI, distribution, agency and franchise, and joint ventures and other forms of collaborations. In addition to her extensive experience in commercial contracting, Eline regularly advises clients on the regulatory and commercial aspects of the development, manufacturing, distribution, and sales of medicinal products, medical devices, food, consumer and other regulated products. ESG is a key focus of Eline’s practice. With her unique combination of competition, commercial, and product regulatory knowledge, she adds particular value as a ‘one-stop-shop’ in all supply chain related matters.

Her experience includes:
- acting as the lead competition counsel to a consortium comprising of ADM, Cargill, Louis Dreyfus Company and Olam in a joint venture to develop and establish TRACT, a pioneering digital sustainability measurement platform. As part of the initiative, Eline helped securing a ruling from Brazil’s Competition Authority (CADE), approving the launch of the platform. In doing so, a legal precedent was set on how to advance sustainability goals without compromising competition
- acting as the lead counsel to a global client selling household appliances, in respect of all its EU competition and commercial matters. Ongoing advice is particularly focused on the client’s distribution strategy, with the client facing challenges in relation to pricing, online (platform) sales, and dual distribution
- representing a global convenience retailer in respect of its franchise operations, inter alia in a dispute with one of its franchisors and the negotiation of franchise agreements
