Luis Suárez de Centi is a licensed attorney with the Madrid Bar Association. He is also licensed as a Foreign Legal Consultant in the State of New York.
He has extensive experience advising large corporate groups, private equity funds and high-net-worth individuals on tax matters, with a strong focus on cross-border transactions.
Throughout his career, Luis has advised on the tax aspects of complex real estate and international M&A transactions, the tax advice on corporate and family group restructurings—particularly in Spain and Latin America—, the tax aspects of financing transactions and the tax planning of cross-border investments. He also regularly advises on tax litigation, including audits carried out by the tax authorities and tax disputes before the courts, as well as on wealth planning and international relocations of individuals and family groups.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Luis developed his professional career at Uría Menéndez, where he led the Tax practice of the firm’s New York office between 2018 and 2024, advising clients with interests across the United States, Europe and Latin America and consolidating a strong international profile.
