Konexo bolsters its market-leading technology credentials

Konexo, the unique global alternative legal and compliance services provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of Babar Hayat as Head of Product, Technology Innovation and Transformation.

Babar joins Konexo – a division of global legal practice Eversheds Sutherland – from Thomson Reuters where he was Senior Director of Product Strategy and LegalTech Innovation. His appointment brings a wealth of expertise across software, product development and innovation, across both the legal and financial services sectors. Babar is well-versed in meeting client needs in innovative and strategic ways by developing and delivering new legal-tech solutions for client service provision.

Babar will focus on developing Konexo’s use of data and insights, increasing Konexo’s ability to leverage sophisticated data insights, to drive decision making and support strategic evolution and change product delivery at Konexo.

Konexo launched in May 2019 through the merging of three well-established teams at Eversheds Sutherland – ES Consulting, Corporate Secretarial and Insolvency – into a new division. The appointment of Babar follows the recent appointment of Brett Aubin as Managing Director for Regulatory Response in September 2019, as part of a number of planned strategic hires as it further develops its market-leading proposition.
