Linda has over 20 years of legal experience. Since 2018 Linda is also a certified insolvency administrator and managing insolvency proceedings, for which she has been appointed by court decision, as well she has been working in the field of insolvency and Legal Protection Proceedings since 2011, including advising and supporting clients involved in such proceedings, as well as providing legal assistance to businesses in temporary financial distress, drafting plans for Legal Protection Proceedings and assisting the company in applying for Legal Protection Proceedings.
Linda also specalizes in real estate, having worked in a real estate management company, including as head of legal department. Linda joined Eversheds Sutherland Bitāns team after more than 12 years of working as a restructuring and insolvency, real estate and other mainly civil cases lawyer in another professional law office in Riga.
At present Linda specializes in managing insolvency proceedings, contributes to our Corporate and Commercial practice, participating in M&A transactions as well as in real estate legal due diligence, assessment of a land use possibilities and other related issues.
