Catherine Detalle is the Senior Office Partner of Eversheds Sutherland in Paris. She is a partner in the Corporate / M&A practice group and heads the firm’s Consumer sector.
Catherine's practice focuses on complex international mergers and acquisitions, representing corporate buyers and sellers in a wide variety of strategic transactions.
Her experience in corporate law encompasses joint ventures, stock exchange-related transactions and general corporate advice.
Catherine advises French and international clients from various sectors, notably consumer goods, industrials and technology.
Member of the Paris Bar, she was a lawyer at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP and Latham & Watkins LLP before joining Eversheds Sutherland in 2014.

- The environmental, social and governance data provider Beyond Ratings in the context of its sale to the London Stock Exchange
- Wärtsilä on the sale of Whessoe, its division specialising in tank control system for gas tanks on LNG ships and land-based LNG systems to the Danish gas pump specialist Svanehøj
- Ethifinance, specialising in financial and extra-financial expertise in connection with the acquisition of Axesor Rating in Spain
- The American group Pentair, specialist of industrial equipment, on the sale of its valves activities to Altifort France and on the acquisition of a pool business in the South of France

Catherine holds a post-graduate Law Degree from La Sorbonne and from the University of Westminster (London).
