Mostafa is a dual qualified lawyer (civil law/common law) and he is a Legal Director in the litigation and dispute management practice in our Riyadh office.

Using his past experience in one of the largest US pharmaceutical companies, as a corporate lawyer in an international law firm in Cairo and as financial crime prosecutor in the Egyptian Judiciary for more than 8 years, Mostafa advises major corporations on how to strategically handle their local and cross border disputes.

- Advising 3 local distributor on their disputes with a regional telecom company the total value of which exceeds ½ a billion Saudi Riyals.
- Representing an Oracle IT partner in a dispute arising out of a software development project which was being considered by SCCA arbitration.
- Advising a leading international pharmaceutical company on compliance issues following the commencement of internal compliance investigation on marketing and sales practices in Saudi Arabia.
- Conducting an internal investigation for a Fortune 500 company involving a local facility manager who was criminally prosecuted in KSA.
- Advising and representing a Fortune 500 company on a tax dispute with ZATCA for an amount exceeding SAR 600 million. Till now the tax liability was decreased to less than SAR 30 million and we successfully submitted a MAP request in Saudi Arabia in parallel with our colleagues from another ES European office.
- Representing a regional contractor in a dispute with a local company arising out of an EPC contract.
- Representing a international hotel operator in an arbitration proceedings in Saudi Arabia filed against a local hotel owner, the dispute is amounting to SAR 650 million.
- Advising a telecom company on three court claims it filed against the CITC amounting to SAR 1.6 billion.
- Representing a regional IT company in its dispute with one of its clients arising out of a contract to establish a platform.
- Representing a telecom company in its dispute with the SPL and SAFF arising out of sponsorship agreements.
