Nationally ranked and recognized in trade secrets, blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI), he routinely serves as lead trial counsel in national and multi-jurisdictional cross border high-stakes litigation for the world’s leading technology, life sciences, finance, manufacturing, and professional services companies.
His practice also encompasses advising Boards and C-suites with regard to regulatory compliance, governance, and risk mitigation of emerging technologies, including AI, blockchain, decentralized finance (DeFi), smart contracts, and cryptocurrency. He serves as outside general counsel to one of the world’s leading DeFi projects and is the founder and longtime co-chair of the ABA’s AI and Blockchain Subcommittee.
Recognized by the Daily Journal in 2019 as one of California’s Top 20 AI Attorneys, Bradford played a key role in developing federal AI workplace and IP legislation that became a US House of Representatives Discussion Draft bill in 2018. In 2023, he was invited to testify before the US Senate as an expert on AI and the Future of Work. He has also developed corporate governance frameworks to promote algorithmic fairness.
Bradford is the author of Protecting Intellectual Property in the Age of Employee Mobility (ALM, 2014) and co-author of Uncovering Digital Evidence (Springer, 2024), a practical guide for legal professionals navigating digital evidence.
